Number 4 in the Landscape Series is full of suprises in texture, color and fiber...wools, silk and all manner of randomness, corespun around a laceweight novelty yarn, invoking wildflowers under a pale blue sky. Lofty and so light...bust out the big needles and let it carry you away! This series of corespun yarns is inspired by landscapes both earthly and imaginary. The corespinning technique lends itself well to explorations of texture and color, ethereal yet solid, like just the moment in time and space where earth meets sky. This will be an ongoing series from various materials. |
