This series of corespun yarns is inspired by landscapes both earthly and imaginary. The corespinning technique lends itself well to explorations of texture and color, ethereal yet solid, like just the moment in time and space where earth meets sky. This will be an ongoing series from various materials. Landscape Series #9 is crafted from handcarded batts of various wools and miscellaneous fibers including corriedale wool, merino/lincoln, merino, novelty snippets and more. 2 skeins available, each with enough yardage for a small project. |
