Be aware that I use wool that has been only minimally processed, if at all, and therefore may contain small bits o' the farm here and there. Please contact me for more information. September Cones is lovingly handcrafted from handdyed, handcarded coopworth wool, straw-colored sari silk, raw flax (bracken), natural chocolate-brown alpaca, needle-felted Autumn leaves of oak and other, and fir cones gathered on an afternoon walk. The yarn is spun bulky single, with the leaves and fir cones spun right in, all wrapped up in an olive green thread. Afew pokies from the flax, but otherwise next-to-the-skin soft. This yarn has been washed and dried to set the twist, cones and all, and the cones don't seem to mind.

September Cones $66 ...contact me if you are interested in this one. This yarn has travelled around with me to different shows, and a fir cone or two has broken and fallen out. They are, after all, tiny and delicate, real fir cones. I have it marked as not for sale, but if you really love it, and don't mind that the fir cones need delicate handling, it is a beauty of a thing. The true loveliness of Autumn....
